The term βαρύς evokes a weight, an overbearing burden. This takes musical form through a complex and utterly atmospherical, yet visceral, approach to Death Metal. A monolithic, churning sound merged with progressive structures, frequently delving into Black or Doom territories, completed by deep vociferations. After a first EP in 2015, Barús’ first full-length Drowned was released on October 22nd 2018 by Memento Mori.
